Mark your calendars! The 2015 Bright Night Benefit to support the good works of KidsUganda is September 26th!

In 2013, almost 300 guests attended the benefit at the beautiful and historic Schweppe Estate in Lake Forest. Guests included the founders of the Maranatha School and Orphanage, Patrick and Eva Walusimbi, who traveled 7,500 miles from Uganda for the African-inspired evening. Guests were treated to lush, colorful jungle-themed floral arrangements throughout the estate along with glowing tiki torches on the beautiful rear gardens and lawn overlooking Lake Michigan. Music, dancing and a silent auction energized the evening. In the words of one attendee: "I have been to parties from Newport to Bermuda to Palm Beach and Nassau. I have never been to one so elegant and tastefully done as 'A Bright Night. What a wonderful evening, full of fun, love and good purposes."

Through donations, the silent auction and ticket sales, KidsUganda raised over $66,000 which will continue their mission to provide education and clothing to almost 1,300 students and shelter to approximately 250 students who live at the school.

This year's benefit looks to be as joyful and successful. To learn more about being part of it contact Penny Marsh at penny@kidsuganda.com
